November Thankfulness
As the final minutes of November come to a close, I am pausing a moment to reflect. I have enjoyed writing about my "thankfulness" the last few weeks. And though at times it has been sporadic, I still have had a thankful heart. Even when my heart ached and was heavy this month at times, it was still thankful. I am going to close out the month with a few extra "thankfuls."
The peace I have that comes from Christ makes me thankful.
The man I get to "do" life with and have by my side makes me thankful.
Five children, each so different and special in their own unique way make me thankful.
Gouches and Edmonds that love Christ make me thankful.
Modern medicine that can give my mom a new hip to help ease her physical pain makes me thankful.
Siblings that love and care for each other and our mom to share in her care make me thankful.
The opportunity to know Christ in a relationship makes me thankful.
Lovely, pure voices eager to sing praises to God and embrace HIS gift of music make me thankful.
God's grace and forgiveness makes me thankful.
God's Word makes me thankful.
I hope your November was filled with thankfulness. During the coming weeks, I hope and pray that those reading and myself will be able to quietly reflect on the meaning of this Advent season.
