The Love of My Life

I miss my husband! I am not whining or complaining. I just miss him. He is actually back in Mississippi doing Hurricane Katrina relief work. I am so proud of him. This is his second trip down there to work (the first was back in December).

I think in this post I will list some reasons why I love him, since our 14th anniversary is coming up in June :). Please note that these are in no certain order...

I love being married to a man who is the "strong, silent type." He really is and I really love him for it. I can be quite the talker, which is not always a good thing.

I love being married to a man who is great at fixing things (even if he does not enjoy doing so at home after doing it all day at work :).

I love being married to a man who is not afraid to get his hands dirty, and usually they are!

I love being married to a man who is kind, considerate, and compassionate.

I love being married to a man who loves his children unconditionally and wants to provide for them.

I love being married to a man who lets me homeschool our kids, who understands my need and love of teaching.

I love being married to a man who still has the same grin he had when he was 19.

I love being married to a man who brought joy and laughter in my life when I met him in 1990, and still does it today.

I love being married to a man who loves God and so wants to serve and please Him.

I love being married to a man who is not afraid to stand up to something that he knows is wrong.

I love being married to a man who always will put a positive spin on things, even if it makes me crazy!

I love being married to a man that, even though he is 36, still gets asked if he is in college :).

I love being married to a man who will always try his best to find a really good restaurant, or will drive to the middle of the nowhere for a highly recommended piece of Mississippi Mud Pie (that probably sounds lame, but it can be a good thing)!

I love being married to a man that whether in crisis mode or everyday living mode, I can count on him to love me back.

I love you, Harvey!
