A Much Needed Vacation

Here are words that were heard on our way to Florida for a much needed vacation. I must also mention that said words were heard when we left our home at 5:30am!!

Husband (said while driving shortly after pulling out of our driveway) : "Let's go to sleep."

J: "I'm not sleepy. I'm awake!"

Husband (said while driving with no coffee at approx. 5:40am): "Let's play the quiet game."

Princess: "B is hungry."

T: "561 miles. It will take about 8 hours and 43 minutes. We will be on this highway for 104.7 miles."

R: "I wonder what movie we'll watch first. Can we watch a movie?"

Husband: "When the sun comes out in the sky we will watch a movie."

Was it a long trip or what?! Actually, it was not as bad as I feared it would be :).



All of that was said last month when we were on our way down to Disney. It was great (although quite a long drive in a truck pulling a camper :). Maybe sometime I can post some pictures! Our little girl turned 6 while we were there. What a great way to spend her birthday :).
