The Tooth Fairy was Working Overtime :)

On Sunday, we visited another church, this time with my in-laws.  During the Praise & Worship time, Jonathan looked down the row at my husband & I, smiled big and said "Yes!!"  One of his teeth had come out!!  He so rarely loses a tooth, it was exciting :).  He then looked at us and held up five fingers and mouthed the word five!  I then held up one finger and mouthed, "No, One!"  You see, last year he had six teeth pulled at one time.  He was so brave and we were so proud of him.  We adopted a new policy that all the kids agreed with--if the dentist has to pull your teeth, you get paid extra :).  So, our smart guy was trying to convince us that he should get paid $5 for the tooth that fell out in church!!

Of course, not to be outdone, was Miss Rebekah who had been wiggling a tooth around for quite a while.  The rest of the afternoon she kept working on hers and by bedtime, hers had come out as well!

Since the tooth fairy made to two stops at the same location, she gave them each a $.25 bonus, bringing their total to $1.25 each :).

Here they are, each with their tooth, right before bed.  Jonathan has a rash on his mouth where apparently he tried to use some hand santizer instead of Vicks Vapor Rub :(.  Poor guy!

Shhh. Don't tell anyone in my family that our tooth fairy is cheap! It's $1.00 for the first tooth, but only $0.25 for subsequent teeth. Maybe it has something to do with Charlotte being a financial capitol or something? Maybe we should move back!

Does Princess Rebekah sleep in a bow? Does that bring more money from the fairy?

Yes, Kari! The fancier you look, the more money you get :). Ha! Ha! We had better not tell her that or she will start sleeping in princess dresses!
