Another Update
So...last time I wrote I mentioned something about exercising. Ugh, I just do not enjoy it, but know I need it :). I started on Jillian's 30 Day Shred. It hurt. It was hard. But I wanted to do it. I even made it to Level 2. However...I have stopped. But before you think I gave up, I really did not! The real problem I had was internal. Let me explain, there was a word that Jillian used in Level 1 that I did not love, but she only used it once and I was excusing it (although we do not say it in our house, unless we are reading about a donkey :). When I got to Level 2, I had another problem with what Jillian was wearing while exercising (Level 2 was a bit skimpier). I do not want to sound like a prude, but it was too tough to overlook! You see, most days I exercise alone, before everyone is up. But at some point during my workout, little ones start trickling in. I have 3 sons, 2 daughters, and a very large tv. What she is wearing (or not), cannot be hidden! Her words cannot be "unheard." As much as I did not like it, I made the decision to stop with her workouts. I still question my decision somewhat, but I know it was right. I admit, it is a struggle and my workouts are not as intense as they were with her. I have to say, though, that I am pushing myself harder now after doing her workouts.
Do not laugh, Jen , but I have gone back to some of Leslie Sansone's walking dvds...but THIS time I am going with the 12 minute mile walks, while using my weights :). Also, I have used WiiFit again, which I have not used in a long time. There have been mornings when I have also been able to walk outside, which has been nice with our weather right now.
I am not exercising everyday as I was initially. What I have noticed through this experience the last few weeks, is that the more I exercise the less I want to snack in the afternoons. It has been a good appetite suppressant, I guess you could say :). Also, I have felt stronger, which is nice. It definitely still does not come easy for me, though. There are some days when I reach the end and I am discouraged because I lacked the discipline to exercise that day. Oh well.
On one of my Saturday morning walks, our neighborhood had a yard sale. I normally do NOT find bargains at yard sales, but this particular morning, I sure did!! Three dog dishes (they looked new, the man told me his dog was picky and did not like the bowls--what?!), a neat wrought iron chair (that was calling out to my daughter's American Girl dolls to have them sit upon :), a Hello Kitty large picnic basket (I love picnic basket, ours broke years ago and I never replaced it--you can barely tell it says Hello Kitty :), and a table (that really wants me to sit and use it for scrapbooking:)!! All of that was for $9.00!! I could not believe it!
Well, for the few of you who are still reading...sorry if I bored you to tears!
I hope you all have a wonderful Fall day!!

I really love the table. I may paint it, but probably I will not. The hardware on it had even recently been replaced! By the way, the World's Cutest 4 Year Old Boy, was not purchased at the Yard Sale :).
If you get a new picnic basket, you just HAVE to have a picnic (even if it is close to 90 degrees outside ;). Rebekah and her "World's Best Cousin" made a picnic to share with the brothers!
