November Thankfulness

Sorry I missed yesterday.  I was just too tired to sit at the computer last night :).  But, if I had written, this is what I would have said ;).

I am thankful for our co-op.  It is new to us this year; the children and moms have been so kind and welcoming to us.  This co-op has a reputation for being very "academic," and honestly I was a little nervous to join.  What I have found is a group of women who are caring, Christian women who have a passion for God, their families, and education.  It has been at times a hard adjustment, but well worth it.  Our oldest son, especially, has reaped the benefits of it.  He will be in highschool next year, and we so needed more for him in his season of homeschooling.  There are some things that I just am not able to do for him with four other younger ones in tow.  I am so glad for the new friendships for him, the discipline in new habits forming, and just all that he is learning!!  He has very good teachers and classes, but really loves this teacher and her class (who just so happens to be our pastor's wife :).  Incidentally, she is the one who inspired me to write these November Thankfulness entries.  She posts once a week about things for which she is thankful, even in seasons of her life that are difficult.  Beth reminds of the beauty and peace that comes from gratitude.

So, hopefully tonight I will be able to post for today :).  Thank you for all of your sweet, encouraging comments!

So glad you are being encouraged by your new co-op! I know that I feel the same about the one I'm in. It does my heart good.

Love the thankfulness posts too. It's a great habit to cultivate!

Blessings
