Days 3 & 4 Don't Mess With Texas :)

The last two days have been filled with lots of driving, guacamole, and finally getting to sight-see!  Dallas is one of my favorite cities and today it was fun to learn about some of its history.  We arrived into town early Sunday evening after a full day of driving, church in the van (we listened to a message by our pastor on Philippians :), and a brief stop at a park for a quick lunch.  After dinner, we drove by Mary Kay headquarters and took some fun pictures.  Today, after breakfast at the hotel again, we learned about the JFK assassination and then went to a museum located in the old Dallas courthouse (the building was over 100 years old).  It was a fun, hands-on museum; it was great for the Gouch 5 as it was kid-friendly (yeah!).

After a bit of time, we drove to Ft. Worth to see the Ft. Worth Stock Yard.   It was great fun and we even got to see the cattle drive.  Of course, our boys loved the cowboys and the shoot-out!  Benjamin was thrilled to get a Marshal badge and to learn that Marshals have more power than sheriffs, as they are in charge of more territory :).

We were blessed tonight to see a beautiful sunset, offering a backdrop to the massive windmills everywhere.  Our hotel tonight will find us still in TX, but close to New Mexico!

Thanks for checking in and for keeping us in your prayers!  Hopefully, at some point I can post pictures.  Having some technical issues...
