Returning
I am now back from a very long break that I did not plan. After my last post, I had my blog printed into book form. Honestly, once that book came in the mail, it felt like a completed project (of which I do not have many :). To continue blogging seemed somehow that it would mess up or open the project again.
Well, now I am ready. We are planning a large road trip out west. My husband has had the plan in his head that before our oldest graduates, we will see all of the lower 48 states. This summer, his dream will become our reality and we will be along for the ride! I love being married to a man who loves organizing/planning trips, even if said trips can be a bit out of my comfort zone :).
We have had requests to blog about our adventures. I think they want to see just how crazy our craziness will be once we take it on the road! So, with our house being taken care of by trusted family, we will hit the road. Two adults, five children (one a teenager), one minivan, one small trailer with luggage...all traveling together.
I may blog about witnessing the wonders of God's creation, our attempts to do this as frugally as possible (within reason :), car survival tips, how much I miss home and my bed, or maybe even scrapbooking this trip as we go. Whatever it may look like, I hope you will join me and feel free to leave comments (in love, please ;). It is going to be quite a ride!
