I am just checking in with a quick update. Things are busy and crazy around here, to say the least! Our co-op has ended, lessons, practices, and speech therapy are coming to an end, and, honestly, I cannot wait! It has been a busy spring.
This summer's big family road trip will *only* be two weeks ;-). We will be visiting Texas again, but this go around we will not be just driving through. We will be spending time in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. We will also visit Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee (Memphis), Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia, and the pan handle of Florida. We will end our trip by spending our last night with some very dear friends in Atlanta :).
I know many think we are probably a little crazy, and yes, we are ;-). It is difficult finishing up a school year, completing end of the year testing, trying to clean and organize after months of school has left the house somewhat neglected, working on plans for next year, packing up 7 for two weeks in a
minivan...all while still fixing 3 meals everyday, loving on, reading to, taxi-ing, and all the other everyday life things that have to continue. But I am thankful for our crazy! I know that if I take it one
day at a time, God will give me what I need for each day :). As our pastor read in church this past
Sunday, "The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance." Psalm 16:6.
