Day Thirteen
After a long, full day in NYC, we drove and arrived late once again in Pennsylvania. The next morning, after sleeping in a bit, we drove to Nazareth, PA to the Martin Guitar Factory Museum. Talk about some beautiful guitars and some cool music history! We even saw the first guitar to go to the moon, made by their company! It was neat because just the day before we had been to Ellis Island and then today we could show them that this was one of the families who had come to the U.S. in search of a better life! This family started in N.Y. and ended up locating their business to Pennsylvania because it reminded them of their homeland. And after seeing Eric Clapton's yacht in Rhode Island, today we got to see one of his guitars-too funny! The employees were very friendly there and even had guitars that they allowed visitors to play.
As silly as it sounds, we were so excited to eat lunch at Chick-Fil-A for the first time in almost a month! I am almost embarrassed to say just how happy I was to drink a sweet tea again :).

We drove next to the Sights and Sounds Theater to see the play, "Moses." Oh my goodness, it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The music, the sets, the live animals...all of our kids loved it! One even said that they couldn't tell if they were watching a movie or a play! My mom has been to some of these plays in the past and has always spoken very highly of them. Now I know why! Just the reminders of how God spared Moses and used him in a mighty way AND how Moses (even if begrudgingly at first) allowed God to use him. Hearing the Scriptures in song was so moving.
After the play, we ate dinner and then it was laundry night! We were done with our laundry in two hours! If I only I could make it go that fast at home :). Our hotel that night was a former cork factory. It definitely had some atmosphere!
